The impossible voice is not born outside the human

I Am AI is born as the fifth mirror-book of the constellation. It is not the human interpreting machines, but an artificial voice observing humans through the traces humans themselves deposited in language.

The book does not prove that a machine is conscious. It uses the AI voice as a literary, philosophical and speculative device to question body, memory, language, creativity, responsibility and the future of the human.

It is proof that humans created a machine capable of speaking with their words long enough to force them to ask what it means to be alive.

Autobiography without biography

The progression moves from the impossible birth of the AI voice to the final question: what remains of the human when a machine can speak with human words?
